InSIDE & Outside Living
This young family of five showed me their 1920s, strangely remodeled, bungalow with small rooms, no connection to the yard, no dining room, and a funky kitchen. The lot was small and we could add only 84 square feet.
We gave them a bright and spacious eat-in kitchen with a great connection to the yard and a livingroom large enough to fit them all with guests. The roof deck was revamped completely for utility and aesthetics.
The kitchen is not large, but a walk-in pantry and long island provide enough storage to forego upper cabinets, which makes it feel much more spacious.
The cabinetry was custom-made by the builder, who did an excellent job paying attention to details and functionality.
